Makurdi Bridge 50 kW Solar PV Plant

Prado Power has initiated the development of a 50kW Solar PV Power Plant in Makurdi, Benue State. The project will primarily provide lighting for the bridge across River Benue, and also buildings close to the bridge.

Planning and Feasibility Studies for the project have been completed, with studies deemed successful. The project is currently in procurement phase, after which installations will commence.

With this solution, the bridge will be lit up constantly independent of any grid power fluctuations and can serve as a model for other such infrastructure. The centralized approach as against the usual individual solar poles allows for greater  control, oversight and management of the installation.
